This page reproduces the platform's currently-canonical vision and mission, exactly as written in state-server/docs/APP_DESCRIPTION.md. Any framing earlier wiki versions used that doesn't appear in that file has been removed.

Scene Server is a cutting-edge, enterprise-grade backend platform for managing interactive 3D scenes with real-time collaboration and e-commerce capabilities. Built with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and clean architecture, it provides a robust foundation for creating immersive 3D experiences, virtual worlds, and sophisticated product visualization systems.
The frontend client of this platform is called Avvy (APP_DESCRIPTION.md line 250); the codebase paths use both names — state-server / Scene Server on the backend, Avvy / avvy-app / avvyapp on the client.

The wiki previously framed the platform as a "3D presentation and distribution network", with a Karma currency model, R0 use-case A/B framing, NPCs, curators, and a 15%-default platform fee. None of those phrases appear in APP_DESCRIPTION.md, USE_CASES.md, or STATE_SERVER_COMPREHENSIVE_DESCRIPTION.md, and none of those concepts exist in current state-server code. They are excluded until they appear in a canonical source.
Long-term roadmap items (VR/AR, AI assistant, advanced physics, marketplace, full metaverse, blockchain, AI NPCs) are explicitly labelled "Long-term Vision (2025+)" in APP_DESCRIPTION.md lines 429–443 and are not part of the current product description.
